Brief
Facturează is an online invoicing management service. It was created in 2007 with the aim of providing small entrepreneurs with an automated invoicing workflow and making document management more user-friendly, intuitive, and efficient.
After 10 years of activity, it was time for a brand refresh that had to cover several aspects, from the visual identity to the design of the invoicing application, and to highlight as clearly as possible the service's strengths: its user-friendly and intuitive interface, its simple operation, and its flexibility.
Solution
The fiscal universe is often perceived as harsh, tedious, confusing, and bureaucratic. To stand out, there was a need for an approach that would contrast with this perception, that would change it. Simplicity and clarity in communication are essential in this sense. But we chose to add a friendly, slightly comic character to the direction we took.
The Facturează website and application have become lively and friendly both visually and verbally. The colors, geometry, and texts put the world of invoices in a positive light and make it more approachable. The application, used by over 22,000 customers, has received a makeover, in which we have rearranged and restyled all of its components so that the user experience in invoice management is a more pleasant and perhaps a little more fun.
To contrast even more with the tiring bureaucratic world, we created a character to represent Facturează in communication. This is how Franz, the invoice clerk, came to be. We chose to represent a bear in this "position" because this animal has become over time a symbol of the city of Brasov, where Facturează is headquartered. And his name refers to the German origins of the Facturează founders.
