Everyone is aware that building a house is a complex and difficult process. That is precisely why the Holcim company created the StartCasa application: to prepare you for all the obstacles that will arise throughout the entire process. It is a useful guide, created together with construction specialists, where you can find tips and useful information for each stage, from choosing the land to landscaping the house and garden.

The application had everything you needed to be truly prepared for building a house. Everything, except for an introductory film. An animation was needed that would briefly present how StartCasa helps you throughout the stages, in a friendly and attractive way. This is where we came into the picture.

The main challenge in developing the script was to fit all the information the client wanted to convey into 2 minutes, which meant going through each stage of building a house and how the StartCasa application can be helpful at each stage.

The initial logo of the application was the starting point for the style of illustrations and the color scheme. These reflect the energetic and friendly tone of the text, combining bright, warm colors with elements from the style of technical drawing.

The animation was made in a schematic style, to complement and reinforce the voice-over. The result is a fun and friendly presentation for the application, and also a chill pill in the midst of the tiring process of building a house.
