Vilegiatura - Florica Socolescu Villa

We delivered

Branding, Strategy, Webdesign, Collateral

Brief

Surrounded by forests and mountains, Sinaia has a rich past, being a former royal residence. Today it is one of the most popular mountain resorts in Romania, with many tourist landmarks and stunning architecture of the many beautiful luxurious historic houses and villas.

Our client aimed to restore a villa in Sinaia built by the renowned architect Toma Socolescu in 1925, and transform it into a luxurious guesthouse.

Solution

The vision for the business’ scalability was a collection of historic guesthouses. So we created a brand identity that focused on historic and cultural legacy. The interwar period - a time when Romania flourished culturally and economically - served as our inspiration.

Vilegiatura, a term that signifies leisure escapes to resorts, embodies the essence of the experience we aim to provide.

To evoke an air of exclusivity and personal attention, the logo is designed to resemble a signature, thus underlining the concept of Private Guesthouses.

For villa’s identity we retained its original name - Florica Socolescu Villa. Toma Socolescu’s monogram serves as the visual identity, subtly hinting at the villa’s history and the architect’s legacy.

Our creative expertise extended beyond brand development. We actively participated in the architectural and interior design aspects of the project, ensuring a cohesive and luxurious guest experience.
